Scott Macleod  started playing bass in 1972. Always the "rocker", Scott's first band 'SWAN' based in Mississauga, Ontario, played Led Zeppelin, Queen and most rock and roll covers from the era.
Scott began teaching bass as early as the 11th grade. Some of his students went on to play for bands like Coneg hatch, Parachute Club, Billy Idol and Alanna Miles.
In high school Scott discovered jazz & blues and was able to jump right in and play 5 years in jazz combo, although still gigging in his own rock band on weekends.
Scott met Oscar Peterson in the late 70's and was proud to sit in on a number of sessions. Moving to Vancouver in 1982 Scott joined a new up and coming rock band called 'Mr. Cairo'. Now in a full-time touring band, Scott also played with David Coverdale of 'Whitesnake' and began his studio musician career as well.
Becoming a dad in 1988, fatherhood replaced touring. Scott branched again into teaching and studio work. He moved to Nanaimo in 1990, and began his musical retail career at Nanaimo Music Store, soon to become Musicians Warehouse. However, due to circumstances beyond his control, this store collapsed. But because of Scott's excellent reputation in Nanaimo, he was offered a job to manage the new Music Maxx store, which in only one year has expanded to 5 times its original size and is carrying the top lines in musical equipment.  As a musician, Scott plays bass, electric and stand-up for David Gogo and The Legendary Platters. As a recording artist "studio musician", Scott appears on dozens of CDs as music is and always will be a large part of his life.

RICH CORDOCEDO

                               Drums, Percussion & Vocals

Born in North Vancouver Rich has been playing the drums since the age of eleven. An early appreciation for many different styles of music came from listening to his parent’s wide assortment of albums. One of the first professional bands Rich was a part of was “9Passed”, a nine-piece horn band based out of Kelowna. They performed many of their own originals as well as songs from Motown, Tower of Power, and Chicago.

Moving back to North Vancouver in 1977, Rich performed several years in local club act “Blind Date”, and made a reconnection with old school friends Geoffrey Kelly and Jay Knutson. Rich enjoyed performing on percussion occasionally in the pubs of Vancouver with Geoff, Jay, and John Mann, original members of Spirit of the West. Rich is one of the Good Old Boys that is sung about in the popular Spirit of the West song “The Crawl”.

In the late eighties and early nineties he performed with “THE VOIDS,“ The REMINDERS” and with Jay Knutson who left Spirit of the West and pursued a solo career.

In 1995, Rich and his wife Cheryl moved to Nanaimo, where after several years he reconnected with his best friend, Brian Dusch, a former member of “9 Passed”. Together they formed local cover band favorites “The Phat Bastards”. Since moving to Nanaimo, Rich has also performed and been a session drummer /percussionist on CD’s from local artists: Elly Parker, Narissa Young, Birgit and Ric Lafontaine.

In 2005, Rich rejoined “Elly Parker and Then Some”.
